A safe and accessible storage area lays important role in child care environment. It will eventually built habit of organizing in kids from the childhood itself. It also make it possible to create collections of materials and props for kids. It enables kids to arrange their toys in exact places and easy to take them out too.

DESIGN BRIEF :
An easily accessible Toy storage unit for a single child which can be placed in his / her bedroom. Considering the dimension constrains (340mm X 550mm X 890 mm ), the toy storage is divided into different portions according to each of its functions, which actually help to keep the toys organized.
CONCEPT:
The concept of my storage unit came up with that segregation of toys and the accessibility for the kid . I have tried to give different compartments which made according to the things to be kept. It is a simple design which makes it easy for the kids to use themselves. Open storage is used more since: Easy access for kids To avoid accidents caused by doors and other openings . It allows him/her to chose toys without rummaging through drawers . It allows toys and other things to be updated and rotated.
